New Mexico - Aspen Vista

This Hike is led by GWH Ambassador Joslynn Romero!

I know this is a common hike but I thought it would be an awesome way to take some pictures together and just enjoy the fall scenery as a group.

Aspen Vista
Trail Rating: YELLOW: Moderate hike, well-signed, elevation gain of between 1,000-2,000ft., low altitude. Novice hikers welcome! 3L of water required.

Hey ladies! This is looks like such an amazing place, I decided to make this a weekday for those who can't attend the weekend trips, it is later in the afternoon to try to avoid the heat and maybe we can catch the sunset. This is a Co-Ed event. 

Trail Rating: This is a green hike on the GWH scale – It is 5.5 miles, and has unmarked trails, may not have signage and has elevation gain of about 213 feet
Bisti Badlands Trail

To complete this hike, I highly recommend bringing electrolytes, snacks, at least 2 L of water, and your 10 essentials, I would also prefer if everyone brought a headlamp or a flashlight just in case we do get to sit and watch the sunset. 

This hike is open to hikers of all skill levels. We’ll be hiking as a group, and nobody will be left behind or forgotten.

Trail Rating: This is a yellow hike on the GWH scale – It is 6.4 miles, and has unmarked trails, may not have signage and has elevation gain of about 2,000 feet

Since we’ll be at a high altitude, please make sure you bring aspirin or another headache soother, electrolytes, extra water, and I recommend bringing something to help you with nausea – you never know!
