Hey ladies!! This one is a long one! I recommend trying to get a couple extra miles in for hikes just to be prepared! I will post more info in the next couple days!

This hike is probably not the best hike for beginners, based on length and difficulty. You should be able to confidently hike at least 6 miles, and hike at a 2-2.5mph pace. As always, our meetups are a no-judgement zone. We are here to encourage as well as motivate each other along the trail. This means NO ONE is left behind!

>>>>>Preparing for the hike: make sure to eat breakfast and hydrate, wear comfortable clothing, supportive trail shoes or hiking boots with good tread, trekking poles if desired, at least 2-3L of water, and a first aid kit!

Please remember to dress appropriately! Winter boots, gloves and hats are highly recommended. Layers are the best way to dress so you don't overheat! If you need help putting together a winter hiking wardrobe, check out this great blog post from REI about dressing for colder weather!

***As with all GWH events, you must sign the GWH waiver before attending – it takes less than a minute to sign, and once you’ve signed it once you’re good to go for all future meetups***

Any updates will be posted on the event thread via the pinned post, and I’ll update the event description if anything changes!
