Trail Description:
This is an easy trail with just a slight elevation gain. It’s located in Wilderness State Park just west of Mackinaw City on Lake Michigan. Wilderness is the 3rd largest State Park in Michigan at 10,512 acres. It is home to Piping Plover nesting grounds, and It is also designated as a “Dark Sky Preserve”. We may explore some other official trails within the park along the way as well. We will keep an eye on the weather and give gear/clothing recommendations as it gets closer.

*As with all GWH events, you must sign the GWH waiver before attending – it takes less than a minute to sign, and once you’ve signed it you’re good to go for all future meetups.
