Johnsondale Bridge Trail

Trail Rating: GREEN: Mellow hike, easy to follow, elevation gain of 1,000ft. and under, low altitude. Novice hikers welcome! The path is a bit rocky at times but I'd still consider this an easy trail with good mileage. This hike is open to hikers of all skill levels. We’ll be hiking as a group, and nobody will be left behind or forgotten. 2L of water required.

Date: January 5th, 2019
Time: 9:00 AM
Distance: 8.1 miles. This trail doesn't have an obvious end point so when I hiked it I just stopped around 4 miles where the map says it ends on AllTrails.
Elevation Gain: 738 feet

AllTrails Track:

Water Required: 2L of water required.
Dogs: On leash only. (It's narrow at times and rocky so if your dog is running off leash they could easily cause a member to fall)
Permits / Passes: None required (from what I've read)

Trailhead Coordinates / Address: Get on CA-178 E & Follow CA-178 E to CA-155 W/Kernville Rd/Wofford Heights Blvd in Lake Isabella. Take exit 43 from CA-178 E. Continue on CA-155 W to your destination in Camp Nelson

Kids: No
Men: Ladies only please.

***As with all GWH events, you must sign the GWH waiver before attending – it takes less than a minute to sign, and once you’ve signed it once you’re good to go for all future meetups***

There is no service in this area so if you are running late we will only wait 5-10 minutes or so and then begin our hike. Please be on time so we can all hike together :)
