Gear— as this is a winter hike, you must pack microspikes and/or snowshoes, extra gloves, snacks, extra socks, and one more layer for your upper body than you think you’ll need.

If we have sufficient daylight and motivation, we can check out the path to Black Bear Mountain (6.2 miles R/T) and earn our winter Fulton Chain Trifecta Winter Patch.

***As with all GWH events, you must sign the GWH waiver before attending – it takes less than a minute to sign, and once you’ve signed it once you’re good to go for all future meetups***

If the weather/roads are forecasted to be bad, we’ll postpone and I’ll let you know by January 10.

This event is capped at 15 participants to lessen our impact. If interest exceeds capacity, I’ll happily lead this series of hikes again, later in the winter.
