California Central Coast - Satwiwa/Big Sycamore

Hello! I’m Caroline Paras and I am a GWH ambassador for Central Coast. I’ll be hosting this series of four hikes for novice hikers. Third in this series will be Satwiwa/Big Sycamore Canyon Loop in Newbury Park. This trail reflects the heritage of both Native Americans and local ranching. The Satwiwa Native American Indian Culture Center is open on weekends from 9am to 5pm. We will meet at the trailhead at Rancho Sierra Vista Recreation Park.

This is a ladies-only hike. While this hike may be for beginners, all women of all fitness levels are welcome. This hike is designed for beginners, but is great for anyone who hasn’t been out hiking in a while and would like to get back into shape. No one will be left behind.

If you are a registered member and have your punch card, don’t forget to bring it so I can initial it! If you’re not a registered member, you can find out more about how to become one and get a punch card of your own here: https://girls-who-hike.myshopify.com/products/gwh-new-member-kit One signature per meetup. I will not be handing out punch cards at meetup.
