New Hampshire - Mount Pierce

Here it is ladies, the 4000 footer hike!
Disclaimer to speedy hikers: We will be taking this very slowly! I'm asthmatic so that's really my only option, think 1 mile per hour or even slower depending on the group
To those who haven't hiked in the Whites before: I would LOVE to be there for your first 4000 footer! I highly recommend doing some training hikes before then to make sure you're ready for the distance, this hike is strenuous regardless of speed, and I would like all of us to get to the summit together!

The plan is to meet at the Concord, NH park & ride at 7am, from there it takes 1.5hrs to get to the trailhead so you could also meet there at 8:30 (I will need a solid headcount for both locations ahead of time)

Trail Rating: This is a RED on GWH rating scale - strenuous hike, more than 2,000ft elevation gain
Mount Pierce via Crawford Path
Date: August 18th
Time: 7:00 AM
Distance: 6.3 Miles
EG: 2,430 ft
Location: Crawford Connector Trailhead/Park & Ride Concord, NH (31 Stickney Ave.)
Dogs: Experienced trail dogs only (the rock would be rough on the pads of dogs who have not hiked in the Whites often)
Permits / Passes: $5 cash only parking if you park at the trailhead
AllTrails Track:
Kids: only kids with plenty of experience hiking
Men: No

***As with all GWH events, you must sign the GWH waiver before attending – it takes less than a minute to sign, and once you’ve signed it once you’re good to go for all future meetups***

To complete this hike, I highly recommend bringing electrolytes, snacks, at least 2 L of water, warmth layers, and your 10 essentials.

While we do plan on hiking very slow, please be sure you are capable of the distance and elevation gain. We’ll be hiking as a group, and nobody will be left behind or forgotten.

Any updates will be posted on the event thread via the pinned post, and I'll update the event description if anything changes!
