Trail Rating: GREEN: Mellow hike, easy to follow, elevation gain of 1,000ft. and under, low altitude. Novice hikers welcome!

Distance: 4.2 miles total / Out & Back Trail – approx. 2 hours
Total Elevation Gain: 674 ft.
Top Elevation: 6,932 ft.

**Please note, each girl can reserve up to 3 tickets for friends/children, however each individual attending must fill out a SEPARATE waiver**

Meeting Location: Vincent Gap Parking Area (this is the same area to park in for Mt. Baden Powell)
Trailhead coordinates: 34.373091, -117.751898 (34°22'23.1"N 117°45'06.8"W)
There is a large parking lot at the trailhead but it fills up quickly - carpooling encouraged! *PARKING PERMIT REQUIRED, SEE ABOVE* Please arrive early to allow yourself plenty of time for parking/stretching before we get started. Meet time is at 8:45 AM, we will begin the hike promptly at 9:00 AM.

***As with all GWH events, you must sign the GWH waiver before attending – it takes less than a minute to sign, and once you’ve signed it once you’re good to go for all future meetups***

What To Bring: At least 1L of water. Hiking boots or sneakers (the path is mellow without rocky passages). Trekking poles optional. Sunscreen/Sunglasses. Headlamp/flashlight optional (to explore the mine at the top)! We will take a short break at the top, so feel free to bring along a snack/lunch, though this is not required.

This hike is open to hikers of all skill levels. We will stay as a group, and nobody will be left behind or forgotten.
