Hi ladies! I'm so excited to lead this hike through the Treetop Nature Trail!

The Treetop Nature Trail is an elevated boardwalk, loop trail with 6 cages that offers an educational experience. You can see Birds of Prey up close and personal. Each bird that is housed on the Treetop Nature Trail is un-releasable back into their natural habitat due to some injury that did not heal properly and they would unable to survive on their own.

You will find the following birds:

Barred Owl
Black Vulture
Barn Owl
Turkey Vulture
Great Horned Owl
Red Tail Hawk

Since this is located inside of Oak Mountain Park, there are plenty of other trails to check out afterward if you'd like!!

Bring ample water, bug spray, sun screen, an adventurous spirit, and a camera! Be sure to wear sturdy shoes/hiking boots.

This hike is open to hikers of ALL skill levels. We’ll be hiking as a
group, and nobody will be left behind or forgotten.

This hike will be Co-Ed and child friendly!!
Dogs on leash welcome for this hike.

***In order to attend an official meetup, you MUST have a signed Liability Waiver on file. Please see the Group Rules for details/link to sign. It takes 60 seconds to complete and one waiver clears you for all meetups!***
