To complete this hike, I highly recommend bringing snacks, 2 - 3 L of water, and your 10 essentials. I have not yet completed this hike, but from what I have read the trail may not be well marked and could be overgrown in parts. Because of this I would recommend wearing clothing that covers the full length of your legs. I hope to complete this trail prior to our scheduled date. I will provide additional information at that time. Alternatively, if anyone in our group has been on this trail, I welcome hearing about your experiences.

Additional Note: Dolly Sods was used for bombing training back during WWII and there are still live rounds scattered throughout the wilderness. If you find any, take note of where it was - DO NOT TOUCH IT - and call authorities when you can.

This hike is open to hikers of all skill levels. We’ll be hiking as a group, and nobody will be left behind or forgotten.
