This is a two day/one night backpacking trip. On Saturday, we will be hiking 7.5 miles from the Primrose trailhead up to Lost Lake and will be camping at a designated campsite by the lake. The campsites have bear boxes and there is a very rustic toilet up there as well. On Sunday we will hike 7.5 miles down to the Lost Lake trailhead in Seward and carpool back to the cars at Primrose.

More information and maps can be found here:

This hike is open to hikers of all skill levels. We’ll be hiking as a group, and nobody will be left behind or forgotten. If this is your first backpacking trip, don't stress about it! We will discuss tips and tricks as well as a packing list before the hike. We will also discuss sharing some gear (like tents and stoves) and carpooling between trailheads as the hike gets closer.
