MEETING LOCATION AND TIME: We will be meeting at the trailhead at 8 am. This trail is suggested to take between 3 hours and 4 hours and 30 minutes. With sun exposure at the top we will start early to avoid the afternoon sun.

DIRECTIONS TO THE TRAILHEAD: As found for hike #15 in the Day Hiker's Guide to Sun Valley and Ketchum, "Drive south from downtown Ketchum on Hw 75 for 5.5 miles. Turn left onto East Fork Road. Follow the road for 6.9 miles, through the town of Triump, and turn left onto FR 203. This road is also known as the Hyndman Creek Road. There is no sign indicating the turn, so watch your odometer. Continue on FR 203 for 5.0 miles to a grassy parking area at the END of the road. Just before the end of the road you'll pass the Hyndman Creek Trailhead on the right."

TRAIL RATING: RED: Strenuous hike, possible unmarked trail, elevation gain of 2,500+, altitude up to 9,500 feet. Experienced hikers welcome, semi-experienced welcome if they plan on training before hand.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Hey ladies! Come join us for a super cool hike up to Pioneer Cabin! We will meet at the trailhead with directions described above. If you have the "Day Hiker's Guide to Sun Valley and Ketchum" it is hike #15. We'll start early to avoid the heat of the day. If you would like to camp out Friday night we may be able to arrange that at the Hyndman Campground just off the same road as the trailhead.

Please be sure to bring lots of water, some food and sunscreen. If you have trekking poles this would be a good hike for those as well.

This hike is for women only. Due to the strenuousness of the hike, we ask that you not bring children. Well behaved dogs are welcome, both on or off leash.

***In order to attend an official meetup, you MUST have a signed Liability Waiver on file. Please see the Group Rules for details/link to sing. It takes 60 seconds to complete and one waiver clears you for all meetups!***
