Juniper Creek Trail is a point-to-point spur trail of the Florida Trail. This trail rambles along it's name sake, Juniper Creek, for most of the 8 miles and also passes through Titi Swamps (expect to get wet!) and a beautiful Florida Long-Leaf Pine Forest. We'll have plenty of time to stop for a rest and snack break on one of the many beautiful white sand beaches that grace the edges of Juniper Creek as we hike our way back to Blackwater River State Park. Be sure to pack lots of bug spray, sunblock, water, snacks, and possibly a swim suit if you're considering a dip in the Blackwater River at the state park.

We'll be meeting at Blackwater River State Park at 8:00am to park our cars and carpooling to Red Rock Road Trailhead to begin our hike. We'll be leaving the state park at 8:15am CDT SHARP and beginning the hike at 8:30am CDT. Please bring cash to pay the state park entrance fee of $5.00 per vehicle.

This hike is open to all skill levels, but be prepared with lot of water, snacks, bug spray, and sunblock, as we all know Florida gets hot and buggy in June!

Any updates will be posted on the event thread via the pinned post, and I'll update the event description if anything changes!
