California San Gabriel Valley - Claremont Hills Wilderness Trail

This vent s osted y irls ho ike mbassador Stephanie Cho! ll attendees ill eceive pecial irls ho ike iveaways efore he ike tarts.

Hey ladies!

Since it's spring break for many school districts in the area, I thought I'd organize a kid-friendly hike before school starts up again & the weather gets hotter. The trail is rather wide and well-maintained - I've seen people push around their kiddos in those heavy-duty strollers so if you have one and don't mind pushing your kids around when they get tired, bring it along! The trail is dog-friendly as well so if you have adventure pups, bring them along, too!

The Hike:

Claremont Hills Wilderness Trail

4031 N Mills Ave, Claremont, CA 91711

Total Distance: 4.7 miles (loop)

Total Elevation Gain: 846 ft.

Meeting Time: 7:45AM; Hike starts at 8:00AM

Meeting Location: Parking Lot @ the end of Mills Rd.

Trail description from AllTrails: Claremont Hills Wilderness Trail is a 4.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Claremont, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail.
