Are you looking for things to do on Earth Day that are meaningful? If you answer is yes, then you should join our Girls Who Hike escapades as we clean up one of Atlanta's most loved and littered trails. Our adventure will begin at the White Water Creek trail head at 9:10 AM please pack $3 for parking, your trash bags, gloves, and any sanitizing supplies needed. We will be picking up trash along our hike as we make way along the Chattahoochee River, stop by an overlook, and hang out in an enchanted bamboo forest. This will be a 4-mile round trip moderate hike that is dog and family friendly. This event should be over between 11:30-12:00 depending on our group pacing. We would love to show our love and appreciation for our Georgia trails!

In regards to pacing: Our GWH group have many differently paced hikers that come to our meet ups. Our meet ups are a no judgement zone and we are here to encourage as well as motivate each other along the trails. We stay together as a group.

Preparing for hike: make sure to eat breakfast and hydrate, wear comfortable layers (as you hike you will warm up), supportive tennis shoes or hiking boots with good tread, trekking poles as needed, at least a liter or more of water, hiking snack, first aid supplies as needed, sunglasses, hat, camera, and most importantly a positive attitude.
