Florida - Garden of Eden Trail

This event is hosted by Girls Who Hike Ambassador Whitney Jones! All attendees will receive special Girls Who Hike giveaways before the hike starts.

The Garden of Eden Trail is a 3.75 mile trail that will lead us on a hike down into ravines, dense forest canopy, up into longleaf pine uplands, and around to an overlook of the Apalachicola River. One of the most unique places in Florida, this trail explores some of the rarest freshwater habitats on earth. We'll have a chance to see abundant spring flowers in bloom and one of the grandest views in Florida.

Please take note that this trail is considered difficult due to steep ascents and descents. However, we will take our time enjoying this beautiful place, so please come join us regardless of skill level.

Dogs are not allowed on this trail so please leave your fur babies at home.

Because the parking lot at the trailhead is so limited, please carpool to the trail head if you can. The Nature Conservancy also asks for a donation to help preserve this beautiful habitat and trail so bring a few bucks with you for donation.
