Meeting location: Meet at 9:00am at Bashas on Humphreys St to carpool to the trailhead. I can take 3 people in my car. The forest road to the trailhead can be bumpy. If you have a high clearance vehicle and are willing to drive and have room in your car, please let me know.
Directions from Flagstaff (To the trailhead): Drive 35 miles north on US 180 to FR 191. Turn west 2 miles to the trailhead on the right side of the road. US 180 is paved. FR 191 is graveled and suitable for passenger cars in most weather.

GWH Trail Rating - Green: Mellow hike, easy to follow, elevation gain of 1,000 ft and under. Novice hikers welcome!

Hey ladies! I am excited to be leading my second hike as a GWH ambassador. Although this hike would be classified as green according to the GWH trail rating, if you are coming up from lower altitudes, just keep in mind this hike starts at about 7,000 ft. Welcome to the high country!
If you were on my last hike, this hike is about double the distance and elevation gain but well worth the hike. The views on top are spectacular. Dogs are allowed on the hike as long as they are friendly and are kept on a leash at all times. Please bring plenty of water and your ten essentials. Let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to hiking with everyone soon!

***In order to attend an official meetup, you MUST have a signed Liability Waiver on file. Please see the Group Rules for details/link to sign. It takes 60 seconds to complete and one waiver clears you for all meetups!***
