This month we are hiking 40 Acre Rock Heritage Preserve in Kershaw, SC! We will meet at the upper parking lot at 10:15am. The hike will take us through creek crossings, past a cave and a waterfall, and also sets us up for a view of a lily pad-covered pond. The total distance should be no longer than 5 miles, depending on which loop(s) we take.
This event is a FAMILY FRIENDLY hike, so your partners, children, pets, etc are invited! My husband will be there getting some drone coverage 😊 We should be on the trail around 3-4 hours max, so bring some snacks and/or lunch (and plenty of water!) Parking may be limited, so save the planet and try to carpool if you can! More information and details to come as the event gets closer. In the meantime, feel free to ask any questions. See you soon ✌🏼
