Meeting Location: Corner of Lake Hollywood Drive and Wonder View Drive. Please arrive early to allow yourself plenty of time for parking and stretching. Meeting time is at 7:15 AM and we will start promptly at 7:30.

GWH Trail Rating - This a YELLOW hike - Moderate hike, elevation gain of 1,000 – 2,000 feet, and low altitude. We will keep a moderate pace of around 2 mph. (Keep in mind that there is approximately 740 ft. of elevation gain in only 3/4 of a mile up to Burbank Peak. Due to this bit of scrambling up steep incline, novice hikers may shy away from this one.) As always, please wear hiking appropriate footwear.

**In order to attend an official meetup, you MUST have a signed Liability Waiver on file. It takes 60 seconds to complete and one waiver clears you for all meetups!**

What To Bring: Please eat breakfast before you arrive and bring plenty of water. Though this is a short trail, it is exposed, so sunscreen and 2L water minimum is required. If the weather is cool, please be sure to dress in weather appropriate layers. We will take a short break at both Burbank Peak and Mt. Lee for photos, so feel free to also bring along a snack. Trekking poles are encouraged but not required (you may prefer to have your hands available during some of the steeper sections).

If you are a registered member and have your punch card, don’t forget to bring it so I can initial it. If you’re not a registered member, you can find out more about how to become one and get a punch card of your own here: https://girls-who-hike.myshopify.com/products/gwh-new-member-kit

Please contact me with any questions that are not answered above, and any additional updates will be posted here on the event page. I can’t wait to see you all on the trails! -Erin
